Our Eyes Were Opened prepares individuals and groups for making wise and compassionate decisions when helping the poor. 

When introducing Our Eyes Were Opened, the executive director of United Ministries Keith Trout says, "This is what United Ministries is doing to end poverty."  United Ministries is a non-profit organization in Greenville, SC that works for poverty alleviation on many levels from providing basic services for the homeless in our day shelter to tutoring for GED proficiency.  United Ministries is also home to one of the most unique programs in our community - Our Eyes Were Opened - an education and advocacy program.
